The venue that you choose will be the biggest determining factor in the overall cost of your wedding. Also the number of guests, but that part’s just mathematics! We have hundreds of potential wedding venues in Italy for you. They are all unique in that they are different sizes, are right for different size groups, different styles, different catering, have different conditions flexibilities and costs. The range is extensive in both what is offered and what it costs. In 2025 the budget range for a one day wedding with 100 guests could be from €34,000 to €132,000 and beyond at different venues. There is also almost everything in-between. These are wedding day costs and do not include accommodation, guest transport or open bar. So if you write to us and ask, how much is a wedding with 50, 90 or even 200 guests, we won’t know what to tell you. As the above paragraph explains, venue choice, guest numbers and budget are all very closely linked. If you give us the other two we will match venues that can work for you. As venue selection is so important and critical to the process it is worth getting these essentials clear as early as possible. Armed with the information collected on our contact form we will peruse a large range of venues for you. In fact, we now work with so many venues that we use a clever program to make sure we don’t miss anything. We will then communicate these possibilities to you and offer you our in depth knowledge of any that are of interest, until we find one that captures your heart!
From here we can create a prospective wedding plan for you that will have a guide budget. We will assume typical costs for service suppliers for a standard spread of services, that are typically involved in all weddings. This is not a fixed budget at this stage and later in the process you can fine tune every element with your wedding planner so that every element is perfect for you. Different elements are more important to different couples and and your wedding can reflect your personality in this way. For example, some couples have wanted to make the music the most important element of the wedding and we have worked with them to source particular bands and musicians. Others are foodies and want show cooking and wine tasting adventures. We can make your wedding themed around what is important to you.

When we have found a venue that you love, Emma and her team of wedding planners in Italy get to work on the wedding day details.
First we talk to you at length to discover your preferences for each element of your wedding. If you are not sure or would like suggestions and guidance we are perfectly positioned to offer such and are very happy to do so. This is (probably!) your first destination wedding in Italy, whilst we are old hats. Many brides find Emma (the head wedding planner and your main point of contact with us) to be an invaluable source of knowledge and ideas and we are all working to make you as happy, and your wedding as perfect as possible. So, she will give you as much help as you want.
When the desired services have been identified we will start offering you choices for suppliers for everything from hair and make up artists to music acts, from floral decorations to photographers. We will help you select the right suppliers for the outcome you would like to achieve. From here you will have control of the budget as we will give you the prices with each option.
This process can take from several months, if you are planning a smaller wedding and can make quick decisions to over a year for larger more elaborate events. There is a lot to go through and a lot of decisions to be made. We make this as easy as possible for you by offering you help and recommended suggestions and useful technology to keep you informed and in touch with the process. We have wedding planning software that you will be able to log in to, with on line design studios, seating plans, mood boards and check lists. We can have regular video calls to sort out details and make sure your preferences are kept paramount, and we are always on the other end of a What’s App message or call.
