Taormina itself is a really lovely place to spend time. There is a very good range of hotels for visiting wedding groups including the San Dominico Palace. This is a very exclusive five-star hotel which is famous as the setting for the popular HBO television production, White Lotus. The hotel features heavily in the second series. In the programme it is renamed, the White Lotus.
There is also a great range of bars and restaurants as well as shopping.
The magnificent Mount Etna and tremendous sea views are always easily visible and there is a beautiful Ancient Greek amphitheatre, which is a ‘must see’.
