Things to do in Umbria
This rustic Italian wedding venue is a great base from which to explore Umbria. It is very close to Perugia which is the region’s main town and is wonderful place to visit. Perugia is full of Italian charm beautiful piazzas, buildings and views, as it is on a hill. It is a lively town and in the evening the streets are full of people enjoying the town’s restaurants and bars.
It is even closer to the small but charming village of Tavernelle which also has great places to eat.
Umbria is very similar to next door Tuscany. It is full of quintessential Italian hilltop towns with central piazzas full of activity. Umbria, and the towns around this wedding venue, are generally quieter than Tuscany with fewer tourists, which some people prefer. The landscape is quite forested and the combination of less people and more forest, make it a haven for wildlife.
It is also an important wine producing region and we can arrange wine tastings all around the region.
