My husband and I got married on the 5th of August 2025 at Castello Di Rosciano, and it was truly perfect — all thanks to Emma and her wonderful team.
The Start of the Process
We’re from the UK, and it had always been our dream to tie the knot in an idyllic, warm setting. The Umbria region has always held my heart — the incredible food, the rolling green hills, and the peaceful charm. However, the thought of planning a wedding abroad felt daunting, and after speaking to a few wedding planners, I was left deflated and unsure it could work within our budget.
Meeting Emma for the First Time
I decided to give it one last go and reached out to Emma. From our very first conversation, I instantly felt at ease. Emma, being British but living in Italy, completely understood both sides of the planning process. Her calm aura and reassuring nature made me believe our dream wedding was absolutely possible. We met her in person a year before the wedding to search for the perfect venue — and we found it! I was immediately drawn to Emma’s warmth, but also appreciated her straight-talking, no-nonsense approach (which, let’s be honest, is sometimes needed when planning in Italy!).
The Planning Journey – Yasmin and Brad
Once we found our venue, Emma guided us every step of the way, handled logistics brilliantly, keeping me involved in every decision. If any issues came up, Emma dealt with them swiftly and calmly.
Of course, no wedding journey is without a few bumps. We were late giving notice in the UK and had to wait an extra month for a new appointment, which meant the legalities of getting married in Italy were looking uncertain. I was frantic, but Emma was my saviour — she kept me calm, reassured me it would all work out, and she was right. Her organisation and knowledge of the legal process were invaluable.
The Wedding Day
Emma was there every step of the way, working tirelessly to make sure everything was perfect. As a bride, I felt completely stress-free, knowing it was all in the safest of hands. Michaela was also incredible — she ensured the day ran seamlessly and even captured beautiful behind-the-scenes moments throughout.
Final Thoughts
I cannot recommend Emma and Love Italy Weddings highly enough. She genuinely cares about the couples she plans for and is a joy to work with — calm, kind, and a true professional. On top of all her planning magic, she was also our wedding celebrant and delivered our story so beautifully it brought tears to our eyes.
We will always be grateful to Emma and the entire Love Italy Weddings team for giving us the most amazing day of our lives.I would highly recommend if planning a wedding.
